Friday, October 16, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at Mary Heads Carter Park. Your kids come in costume and go trunk to trunk. Every trunk has a little game to play before the candy. There's music, a costume contest, and a raffle on the night.

What happens on the night
Decorated trunks
Families decorate their trunks.
A game at every trunk
Before your kid gets candy at a trunk, they play a quick game the host set up. A new one at every car.
Costume contest
Wear the costume. There's a contest on the night. Need an idea? Go as a jiu-jitsu ghost: a white sheet with a belt at the waist.
Music
There's music, too.
The raffle
Come to the check-in table when you get there. You'll get your raffle tickets and someone will point you to the first trunk. We draw tickets all evening, for prizes from local businesses.
There's nothing to enter online. Only families who come get tickets.

The park has more than one parking lot. We're in the parking lot beside the playground, not the larger one off Heads Lane. Other maps of this event show a different lot. Use ours.

Want to decorate a trunk?
Bring your trunk decked out, your costumes on, and a small game the kids can play before they get their candy. That game is what makes it a trunk or treat. Set-up starts at 5:00 pm. RSVP first, then tick the trunk box on the next page so we know you're coming.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Trunk or Treat is free, and you don't need to be a member of the academy to come.
What ages is it for?
Kids 3 to 12.
Where exactly do we park?
Mary Heads Carter Park, 2320 Heads Ln, Carrollton, TX 75006. The event is in the parking lot beside the playground. The park has more than one lot, so use the map above.
Do I have to decorate a trunk?
No. You can come just to trick or treat. If you'd like to decorate one, RSVP and tick the trunk box on the next page. Set-up starts at 5:00 pm.
What happens when I save my spot?
We email you the details and a map that shows where to park. We send reminders before the night too.
What should we bring?
Costumes. If you're decorating a trunk, bring it decked out and bring a small game for the kids.
How does the raffle work?
You get your tickets at the check-in table when you arrive, and we draw all evening. Only families who come get tickets, so there's nothing to enter online.
What if it rains?
If it rains, it's cancelled. The event runs on a city permit that takes weeks to get, so there's no way to move it to another night before Halloween. We'll email everyone who RSVP'd.
